Join us as five standout pours from Hope Family Wines meet five courses from Chef Forster’s kitchen. Whether you can explain Cabernet Franc in your sleep or you’re simply curious what Central Coast sunshine tastes like, this table has room for you.

What You’ll Experience

Five courses, five wines, one perfect pour for every plate. Chef Forster built the menu around the wines. It opens with a bright Treana Sauvignon Blanc and closes with dessert alongside Treana Red, the very first wine Austin Hope made as a young winemaker in 1996. Just before dessert, the guest of honor arrives: the Austin Hope Cabernet Sauvignon, twice named to Wine Enthusiast’s Enthusiast 100 list and drawn from vineyards all across Paso Robles. It’s a wine nearly 40 years in the making, and one sip tells you why. Along the way you’ll learn how warm days and cool marine nights shape every glass, trade favorites with your tablemates, and leave with a sharper sense of why a great pairing works.

The Lineup

• 2022 Treana Sauvignon Blanc: Light and zesty, with tropical guava, lemongrass, and a refreshing snap of acidity.
• Austin Chardonnay: Golden and sun-ripened, with melon and tropical fruit balanced by crisp lemon zest.
• Quest Cabernet Franc: Black fruit and dark chocolate that ease into supple, lush tannins.
• Austin Hope Cabernet Sauvignon: Blackberry and black currant layered with violet, mocha, and a long cedar-and-vanilla finish.
• 2021 Treana Red: Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, bursting with raspberry, fresh cherry, baking spice, and warm vanilla.

Scott Updegraff, Midwest Market Manager for Hope Family Wines, will guide you through the evening one course at a time. After more than 25 years in the wine world, he knows the Hope portfolio inside and out, from how the family helped put Paso Robles on the map to why each bottle tastes the way it does. Expect plenty of stories along the way, and bring your questions.
