Founded in 1967 by Donn and Molly Chappellet, Chappellet is one of Napa Valley's pioneering family-owned wineries — and one of the most revered. A tasting at the winery runs $125-$200 per person. Ours is $60, and a member of the Chappellet family is making the trip down to pour and tell the story in person. That doesn't happen often. Grab your seat before it's gone.

Sequoia grew up between the rugged coastline of Big Sur and her family’s winery in Napa Valley. Raised on a farm in Big Sur and frequently visiting her grandparents at Chappellet Winery helped shape her deep appreciation for California’s landscapes, agriculture, and the culture of gathering around the table with great food and wine.
