Local Event
Cost: From $23.18
Join us for an evening devoted to radicchio, the beautiful, complex and often misunderstood winter vegetable.
Lane Selman, co-author of Radicchio: A Celebration of the Beloved Italian Vegetable, will lead a conversation about the world of chicories, from their deep roots in Italian food culture to the farmers, cooks and eaters embracing them today.
Following the discussion and audience Q&A, we’ll taste chicories with our friends from MX Morningstar Farm, comparing varieties and exploring the flavors and textures that make this family of vegetables so distinctive. Enjoy wine and focaccia as we talk, taste and find new inspiration for the kitchen.
Lane will also sign copies of Radicchio, available to purchase during the evening.
