Local Event
Hosted by Panagiota's Taste of Greece.
This is far more than a wine tasting — it’s a rare, immersive experience brought directly from Tuscany to West Virginia.
For one afternoon only, Tenuta Torciano, a historic family-owned winery from San Gimignano, Italy, is sending an Italian wine educator to fly in from Italy to host this exclusive tasting in person at Panagiota’s Taste of Greece.
Guests will be guided through 10+ tastings featuring a curated selection of Tuscan wines, estate-produced olive oils, and specialty vinegars, paired with stories, history, and traditions straight from the source. This is an educational, interactive experience designed to deepen your appreciation for Italian craftsmanship — whether you’re a wine lover or simply curious.
To complement the tastings, guests will enjoy a thoughtfully prepared spread of small bites designed to pair beautifully with the wines and oils:
• Caprese Skewers – cherry tomato, fresh mozzarella, basil
• Whipped Ricotta Crostini – creamy ricotta, cracked black pepper, lemon zest
• Prosciutto-Wrapped Melon – sweet melon with thinly sliced prosciutto
• Classic Tomato Bruschetta – marinated tomatoes, garlic, basil, toasted baguette
• Arugula Salad – baby arugula, shaved parmesan, lemon
• Italian Sausage Meatballs – house-seasoned sausage, marinara, pecorino romano
• Peppercorn-Crusted Salami – paired with sharp cheddar cheese
• Dark Chocolate with Sea Salt – a rich, balanced finish
Fresh bread will also be available for tasting Tenuta Torciano’s olive oils and vinegars.
