Alpine-Style Cheeses: Celebrating American Cheese Month

May is American Cheese Month, so we will be featuring different styles of cheeses each week for the month of May to celebrate American cheesemakers!

This week we are celebrating Alpine-style cheeses made in the US! We will be featuring five cheeses that are made in a similar style to traditional cheeses made in the Swiss, French and Italian Alps. We'll tell you a brief history of Alpines, why it's one of the most celebrated styles of cheesemaking, and how the style has developed in the US. Our expert cheesemongers will tell you about where and how these cheeses are made and answer all your cheese-y questions!

For your comfort, this class is being offered in person and virtually. If you wish to participate online you may select after purchasing your tickets. Each ticket includes a tasting of at least five different cheeses and expert instruction. Wine, beer, and charcuterie pairings are also available at checkout.
