Wine is more than what's in the glass. It is a place, a season, a vineyard, a vintage, a meal, and the people who bring it all together.
Alba Vineyard, a family-owned estate in New Jersey's Warren Hills AVA, introduces the inaugural Alba Wine Collective, a five-part educational series bringing together accomplished sommeliers, winemakers, agricultural experts, chefs, and wine enthusiasts.
Featuring John Jansma, Head Sommelier at the renowned three-Michelin-starred restaurant Per Se in New York City, the series offers an opportunity to explore wine through the perspectives of the people who dedicate their lives to understanding it.
Hosted at Alba Vineyard in Milford, New Jersey, each gathering takes a different approach to wine education, combining guided tastings, vineyard exploration, winemaking discussions, food pairings, and conversations with distinguished guests.
The Five Sessions
The Alba Wine Collective is designed for curious wine enthusiasts, hospitality professionals, sommeliers, collectors, and anyone interested in developing a deeper understanding of wine.
More than a traditional tasting, the Collective is an opportunity to learn directly from the people behind the wines and build a community around a shared appreciation for wine.
Location: Alba Vineyard, Milford, New Jersey
Dates: November 2026 – March 2027
