Experience an unforgettable mid-day wine tasting featuring the legendary wines of Marqués de Murrieta — one of Rioja’s most historic and prestigious wineries. Led by Six Test Kitchen Sommelier John Seals, this curated tasting will take guests on a guided journey through a selection of exemplary Rioja wines from the famed Castillo de Ygay estate and beyond — showcasing the heritage, finesse, and longevity that have defined Spanish winemaking since 1852.
Founded in the 19th century by visionary winemaker Don Luciano Murrieta — the first to export fine Rioja wines — Marqués de Murrieta is regarded as part of the “Rioja aristocracy,” balancing tradition with innovation in every bottle. The estate’s portfolio ranges from elegant, classic Gran Reserva reds and distinctive oak-aged whites to modern expressions like the revered Dalmau and rare Castillo Ygay releases that have captivated critics and collectors worldwide.
Guests at this exclusive tasting will discover how these wines express the unique terroir of Rioja Alta — from structured Tempranillo-led blends to nuanced, age-worthy selections — in an intimate, guided format designed to deepen appreciation and inspire exploration.
A thoughtfully prepared light charcuterie pairing will complement the tasting. Please note: this is a wine-focused tasting event and not part of our regular dinner service. Seating is limited and requires a reservation.
You will be able to purchase the wines tasted on the day of the event.
