A guided, educational presentation and wine tasting hosted by Denis and Louise-Aimee Collart, owners of Château Donjon de Bruignac, Bordeaux, France. The vineyards of Château Donjon de Bruignac are on the same property as a 5,000 year old castle. At Bruignac, tradition and modernity combine to make the best use of the land. Winemaking has been at Bruignac since at least year 1000AD. Today the vines are hand picked and sorted following reasoned vine farming principles.

Chateau Donjon de Bruignac Premium Bordeaux Superior 2022:  A blend of Cabernet Franc and Merlot.  The wine is structured and solid with tannins. All this dryness along with the cedar wood aroma, plus the black fruit flavor and acidity suggest a wine for aging. Drink from 2026. — Roger Voss
