Join us for a special wine tasting event in Los Angeles celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Sta. Rita Hills AVA. Hosted at The Wine House, this in-person event will feature 50+ wines from leading producers, along with BBQ pairings and select library releases.

We’re thrilled to welcome owners and winemakers from the acclaimed Sta. Rita Hills AVA to share their world-class wines with our customers! Nestled in Santa Barbara County along California’s Central Coast, the Sta. Rita Hills AVA is one of the state’s most celebrated cool-climate winegrowing regions. Its rare east-west oriented valley acts as a natural funnel for cold Pacific air and marine fog, channeling the ocean’s influence deep into the appellation and setting it apart from virtually every other California growing region. The combination of this cooling corridor, ancient marine-based soils rich in calcium, and long hang times allows Pinot Noir and Chardonnay to develop exceptional depth, vibrancy, and acidity. Sparkling wine production has also found a natural home here, where the refrigerated-sunlight creates high-acid fruit providing an ideal foundation for méthode traditionnelle sparkling wines. Granted AVA status in 2001, and celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2026, the Sta. Rita Hills AVA is defined by its hillside sites, low-vigor soils, and an unwavering commitment to cool-climate viticulture. 

VIP admission allows entry beginning at 2 PM, giving guests an extra hour before general admission to enjoy the event with fewer crowds, shorter lines, and a more relaxed tasting experience. During this time, VIP guests will also have access to additional appetizers before general admission begins.

Attendees will sample 50+ wines from 15+ producers, including a special library release from each producer. We will provide delicious BBQ fare including smoked St Louis ribs, smokey beef tri tip, BBQ chopped salad, citrus coleslaw, grilled corn esquites salad, herb grilled vegetables, honey butter cornbread muffins and creamy hatch chili mac and cheese!
