The Farm Bureau of Virginia | Virginia Wine Expo, highlighted by the Walk-Around Grand Tastings, welcomes the world's passionate wine drinkers and producers, spirits enthusiasts, and foodies to its unparalleled 9-day celebration of great wine, spirits, and local, artisan cuisine. 

From intimate wine dinners, fascinating Masterclass seminars, and themed events, such as ‘SMOKED!’, ‘Tequilabamba’, 'Bacchanalia', and the ‘Sparkling & Champagne Celebration’, to the large-scale Grand Tastings, you'll be certain to find unique experiences - many at historic venues - that satisfy even the most discriminating palate.

Heart of the Expo • Virginia's Wine World Is Here

The heart of the Expo are the Walk-Around Grand Tastings, of which there are four entry times, where the public, media, and trade will be able to swirl, sniff, taste and discuss hundreds of bottles of wine from Virginia, our 2026 ‘Regions of Emphasis’, Spain, Portugal, and Central Coast, CA, and other wine regions around the world, as well as dozens of spirits, ciders and meads from Virginia. All this happens at beautiful and historic Main Street Station.

One of the most unique aspects of the Walk-Around Grand Tastings and SMOKED! is the opportunity to taste and in many cases purchase Virginia wine, cider, and spirits to take home. The opportunity to meet winemakers, distillers, knowledgeable volunteers, and distributor representatives, who can educate, enlighten and enrich your understanding of these quality craft products and then buy them to take home is a special opportunity you won't find elsewhere.
