Shaped by dramatic coastlines, ancient soils, and centuries of winemaking history, the Cape produces an extraordinary range of wines with a strong sense of place. This tasting-led introduction brings South Africa’s wine story to life through six representative styles, from celebratory Cap Classique and crisp, ocean-cooled whites to expressive reds and the uniquely South African Pinotage. Along the way, we’ll explore how history, heritage, and landscape shape what’s in the glass—and why South African wines consistently deliver outstanding quality, character, and value. Led by Marcos Iglesias, DipWSET, Cape Wine Masters Candidate.
