Deep ruby. Aromas of fresh blueberry, cherry, and raspberry, with violet, red rose, and carnation. Subtle notes of Calabrian licorice, myrtle, Sichuan pepper, and black mulberry. The palate is silky yet lively, showing fragrant fruit, savory spice, and a long, enveloping finish with persistent licorice root and freshly crushed berries.

Elena Casadei, Winemaker and Ambassador

Elena Casadei began working in her family’s winery in 2013 and quickly rediscovered a deep connection to the craft. Her curiosity led her to amphora, an ancient vessel that encourages gentle micro-oxygenation and stable temperatures, allowing grapes to show their truest character without oak influence.

In 2015 she launched Le Anfore di Elena Casadei, a focused series of single-varietal wines fermented and aged exclusively in clay. The goal is simple and demanding: transparent, authentic wines that reflect terroir and vintage with precision. Elena selects fruit from the best parcels across the family’s estates, vinifying with restraint to preserve texture, fragrance, and place. Today, Le Anfore stands as a modern expression of ancient technique, and a personal statement on clarity in winemaking.
