Wanda Mann, CSW is a respected wine journalist, educator, and speaker whose passion for wine is matched only by her dedication to making it more inclusive and approachable. She is the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Wine With Wanda, a dynamic platform where she shares her insights, interviews, and travel experiences with wine lovers around the world. Wanda also serves as the East Coast Editor for The SOMM Journal and The Tasting Panel, contributing to some of the industry's most respected publications.
A Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW), Wanda earned her credential in 2015 after independently studying and immersing herself in the wine world. Her work has appeared in Food & Wine, Decanter, Travel + Leisure, Saveur, NAPA Magazine, and VinePair, and she’s a frequent speaker at prestigious events such as the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen, the Nantucket Wine & Food Festival, the Charleston Wine + Food Festival, and the Women in Wine Leadership Symposium.
In 2024, Wanda was elected Second Vice President of the Executive Committee for the Society of Wine Educators, further cementing her leadership in the field. She is also a past President of Les Dames d’Escoffier New York, and has received honors including induction into the Ordre des Compagnons du Beaujolais.
Wanda’s professional wine journey began in 2009, inspired by a life-changing tasting experience. She also credits her late father, a professional chef, for first sparking her interest in wine, as well as the two years she spent studying abroad in Spain. From her first sip to her most recent seminar, she remains committed to sharing the stories behind the wines and the people who make them—with warmth, curiosity, and style.
