Karina Decubas

Karina, known as The Wine Librarian, is a Puerto Rican-born wine educator and content creator based in Las Vegas. With a Master of Management in Library and Information Science (MMLIS) from the University of Southern California, she brings a unique archival perspective to the world of wine, combining structure, storytelling, and curiosity in her approach to education.

She holds both WSET Level 2 and Court of Master Sommeliers certifications, reflecting her commitment to deepening her knowledge and sharing it in an accessible way. Drawing from her background as an archivist, Karina curates wine experiences that connect history, culture, and personal narrative.

Through her platform, she seamlessly integrates her passions for wine, literature, and travel, making wine more approachable for a broader audience. Her work is guided by the belief that wine should be both educational and enjoyable, offering insight without intimidation.

In addition to her professional pursuits, Karina is a wife and mother to a son with special needs. This role has profoundly shaped her perspective, inspiring her to share messages of resilience, encouragement, and balance. She is a strong advocate for finding joy and pursuing one’s passions, even in the face of life’s challenges.

Karina’s mission is to foster connection through wine, bringing knowledge, authenticity, and a sense of ease to every glass.
