Anya Myalyuk is a certified sommelier and wine educator with over a decade of experience in the wine industry. She began her career in New York City, working in wine distribution, managing a premium portfolio of predominantly Californian wines, and partnering with some of the city’s top restaurants and retail accounts. This hands-on experience shaped her understanding of both the business and cultural side of wine, from what sells to what truly delivers in the glass.

Over the years, Anya has built a personal collection of over 6,000 bottles, reflecting her passion for discovering wines beyond the obvious choices. Her perspective is shaped not only by formal training but by real-world experience tasting, selling, and curating wines across a wide range of styles and price points.

She is now bringing that expertise to social media, where she is building a modern, approachable take on wine education. Her content breaks down traditional wine rules, simplifies complex concepts, and encourages people to explore beyond the usual. With a mix of strong opinions, practical tips, and humor, Anya makes wine feel less intimidating and far more interesting.
