Amanda Joffee

Amanda Joffee has spent more than ten years in the wine business, working across hospitality, distribution, and as a sommelier. Her time on both the service floor and the wholesale side gives her an insider perspective on wine and the culture around it.In 2019, she launched Shitty Wine Memes, an Instagram account that started as a way to share jokes with friends. The account quickly grew beyond her circle and now has more than 97,000 followers, many of them wine professionals who relate to her observations on the everyday challenges and humor of working in wine.

Joffee has been recognized as a VinePair 50 honoree and one of Wine Enthusiast’s Future 40 Tastemakers, acknowledgments that highlight her voice in shaping contemporary wine conversation. She also produces a line of Shitty Wine Memes merchandise, including stickers, pins, and other wine-themed items that appeal to both professionals and enthusiasts.
