France, a noun that translates to wine. This class takes you on a tour of the major wine regions of France. Come onboard to gain a better understanding of what makes each region’s wines special and what to seek out. Learners will also come to appreciate below-the-radar wine regions worth knowing such as the Loire, Languedoc Roussillon and Alsace along with classic regions such as Champagne, Bordeaux and Burgundy. Even without any prior wine knowledge, attendees will gain confidence about why certain regions are known for their wines and how to choose among French wines according to palate, budget and dining choices when ordering in a restaurant, at home or entertaining.
