Tasting wine is more than swirling, sniffing and swilling! In this class you will learn the basic skills of tasting a wine the way experts are trained as part of their Wine and Spirits Education certifications.
The Wine 101 class will go through the four-part wine process in-depth:
Guests will be able to enjoy complimentary glasses of wine to analyze and enjoy. (Exact wines will be posted soon.) We will also provide a charcuterie board for guests.
This class is a must for anyone who wants to kickstart or improve their wine tasting skills!
This wine series will be hosted by Lisa Utano, CSW. Lisa is a Certified Specialist of Wine with the Society of Wine Educators and has been studying and attending conferencing with the organization for over 12 years.
She has also worked with the school as the Wine Expert for their wine paired dinners, presenting and educating the guests on the wines served for the evening. Her passion for wine has led her to travel to many of the world’s wine regions.
