Café 401, in concert with the Old Brick Inn, is pleased to announce our new wine tasting and dinner series. If you enjoy great food and wine, this is the type of event which should excite your palate. We will be having wines from all over the world, and each dinner will include at least 4 courses paired with wines providing taste compliments between the food and the wine!
Café 401 Executive Chef, Michael Greenwood will lead the kitchen team which aids the wine team in pairing these foods and wines, and then the Café staff will be preparing all of the ingredients and courses for your dining pleasure. Our first event in the series will be held at 6pm on August 25, 2022.
Thursday, August 25th, 2022 at 6pm: Neyers Wines from Napa Valley. Neyers is one of the iconic, although less famous than Mondavi or BV, wineries in the entire valley. Their award winning wines, described below, will be presented for your tasting, drinking and dining pleasure. All of these wines will be presented by Mr. Tim Hinckley, representative of Neyers Winery, who will be relaying the stories of the founding of the NAPA winery, and all of the facts you might desire about each of the wines. If you have attended Winefest events recently, you may already know Mr. Hinckley. As you can view in the menu, we will be tasting 4 wines with the courses, plus some “surprise” wines also from Neyers.
