The Spring Mountain District AVA is one of the oldest growing areas, and best kept secrets, in the Napa and Sonoma Valley. With a high elevation, where vines are often planted above the fog line, and dramatic slopes, the wine made in this small AVA is truly unique.
Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Bordeaux blends dominate the wines made on Spring Mountain, from which well-known names such as Pride Mountain, Paloma, and Philip Togni hale.
Join us on a guided tasting of nine wines from the afore-mentioned Pride and Togni wineries as well as the more classically-styled Barnett, the more modern Keenan, the niche Schweiger, and the critics' darlings Cain Five, and Fe.
