Roll into the evening with Sip & Roll, a hands-on sushi-making class followed by a guided wine tasting, led by celebrated chef and culinary instructor Mamie Nishide.
Originally from Japan, Mamie is a graduate of the Institute of Culinary Education and has worked in some of NYC’s most renowned kitchens, including Le Bernardin and Nobu. With warmth and expertise, she’ll walk you through the fundamentals of sushi making—from rice preparation to rolling technique—as you create 3 to 5 rolls of your own.
After learning how to roll, we’ll move into a wine tasting featuring a curated lineup of bottles selected to complement the fresh, clean flavors of sushi. Whether you’re a curious beginner or seasoned home cook, this is a delicious way to sharpen your skills and explore unexpected pairings.
