Join us at Vino Simpatico on Friday, June 14th at 6:30 pm for a special tasting of the “the best of the best” wines by wine maker Dave Phinney of Orin Swift Cellars. Dave was the winemaker of the acclaimed cult favorite Zinfandel “The Prisoner” which he later sold. After eight years of being barred from making any Zinfandel wines due to his non-compete, Dave is back making a Zinfandel wine with this first vintage of 8 Years in the Desert, which is one of the wines we will be pouring at this unique tasting event.
Phinney is known for creating runaway best-selling wines that highlight the aromatics of the fruit, which is only rivaled by the “shock value” of the label of each of his wines.
To enhance your tasting experience, we will be pairing carefully selected small bites with each wine. There is limited seating for this unique tasting event.
