Hungry for a new spring activity? The Good Time Tricycle crew is turning up the heat with the first Chili Knockout and Spicy Food Fest Saturday, May 21st, on New York Avenue in the center of Atlantic City. So be a part of the kick-off for a hot, new culinary indulgence and fiery festival of flavor as we introduce Chili Knockout and Spicy Food Fest to you.

What is The Chili Knock out and Spicy Food Fest? Chili Knock out is a food festival devoted to exploring all things flavor! It's an opportunity for culinary discovery. It's an interactive "you be the judge."

Chili cook-off. It's a day out with friends and family supporting this seaside community culinary scene. It's a kick-off to spring like no other!

The firey fest features culinary powerhouses from around the area as attendees explore new flavors. Restaurants will offer a variety of dishes to warm your tastebuds. In addition, the Chili Knockout & Spicy Food Fest will feature a variety of multicultural cuisines. This unique five-alarm dine-around is the perfect opportunity for flavor discovery and expanding even the pickiest eats pallet.

As a significant part of the festivities center around each restaurant, take on "Chili," you're the judge. These kitchen crusaders will go head to head for the championship belt, and a winner will take all cash prizes in a chili cook-off where you will declare the Best Overall. As Chili is often done in experimental batches, you, the attendee, will decide the cook-off.

Spice is nice when it is doing good work. As a part of the integral chili cook-off, a $5000 prize has been established. Each restaurant partner will select a 501C3 of their choice pitting the cash prize of $2500 (and a rad belt) to the chef and $2500 to the restaurant's charity partner. This spicy food fest brings heat to your pallet while warming your heart.

In addition to the flavor fight and fiery feasts, attendees will have the opportunity to explore the festival's hot sauce and artist village, vendors, compete in pepper eating contests, and even watch professionals play with fire. Of course, while all the spicy grub is excellent, no festival is complete without a pairing of proper beverages. The Chili Knockout and Spicy Food Fest will feature signature cocktails, as well as some of the area's hottest breweries.

The Chili Knockout and Spicy Food Fest takes place Saturday, May 21st, from 11 am to 6 pm.

Supported by Bourre, the Good Time Tricycle team plans on setting South New York Ave ablaze with flavor and heat like only they know-how. You're invited to experience the creativity of the Atlantic City area's finest culinary experts and a collection of all things hot and honey.
