Modern Steak revolutionized the steak house and now they’re doing it to the seafood restaurant - and we’re coming for one night only to celebrate both and combine the steak menu with the seafood menu for a Surf-Turf dinner.
Modern Steak serve only ranch specific Alberta Beef. They know their farmers and ranchers personally and respect the hard work they put into producing their beef. It means that their meat is pasture-raised from animals without the use of any antibiotics or hormones and with an eye to taste and quality.
Modern Ocean’s seafood is delivered to their kitchen daily and only the absolute freshest, exceptional quality fish and shellfish are selected. Line-caught, trap caught or sustainably farmed in Canada is their goal and commitment.
We’re at Modern’s brand new Southport location; it’s very impressive - sparkling and beautiful - and we’re in the private dining room for a sparkling reception followed by a superb four-course meal, each course paired to complement the ingredients and their flavours.
