Join us on Friday, October 20 for a screening of the award-winning documentary, A Fine Line, exploring why less than 7% of head chefs and restaurant owners are women, when traditionally women have always held the central role in the kitchen. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with director, producer, and editor Joanna James and a dinner.

Following the screening, Ms. James will be joined on stage by three female chefs who have made the difficult journey to the top of the kitchen. After the Q&A, you’re invited to enjoy a four-course dinner with a menu inspired by these eminent chefs with wine and beverages included.

Wines Paired with Dinner

  • Une Femme Sparkling Wine, founded by Jen Pelka, made by women winemakers and gives back to women-centered charities.
  • Dough Wines from Director of Winemaking, Heidi Bridenhangen, recognized for her winemaking artistry and her commitment to the environment and social justice.
  • Markham Vineyards, led by an incomparable team of empowered women who partner with organizations that advocate for women’s equity in the alcohol, culinary, and hospitality industries.
