The Urbano Cellars Barbera is medium garnet in color with black currant and black cherry aromas, along with hints of violets, lavender, cloves and a bit of anise. Black fruit and a bit of raspberry and blueberry flavors on the palate with light tannins, bright acidity and a medium mouthfeel balance this wine with a lingering finish. Try with braised root vegetables, sausages and potatoes, or herbaceous cheeses such as blue cheeses or Tome.
