May 2019- On June 22nd, 2019 Feist Wines will host its first annual Summer Music Festival to kick off its 2019 summer music series. The festival will include a local band, two brothers from the heart of Los Angeles, an East Coast indie rock group, and headlining will be former Old Crow Medicine member Willie Watson. The day will be packed with good music, good food, good people and good wine.
Join us at 3 p.m. for our opening band, Doghouse Trio, a local group from Amador County. They will start our day off with an eclectic set of blues and country folk music that include original and cover songs. Next up we will have The Deltaz, brothers from the center of the L.A. music scene. They have been working together for 10 years, perfecting their craft; playing a wide range of music from psychedelic rock to classic country and folk. They spend their days in a handbuilt studio adjacent to their residence or at a local music club where they have caught the ear of musicians like Rick Rosas and Watermelon Slim. Third in our lineup will be the East-coast band, ONA, they will be taking the stage playing their second album, Full Moon Heavy Light. These 5 bandmates combine rock, indie rock, and country to create a unique sound that only comes from growing up together.
Headlining the show will be Willie Watson. A folk singer in every sense of the word, he is a storyteller that bridges the gap between past and present as he travels developing his stories and music. In his latest album Watson puts his own spin on traditional music varieties like Irish pub tunes, delta blues, and every now and then a gospel tune sneaks in. He draws his spirit and his inspiration from old music that can be brought in to today.
We will be serving small lot wine, wood-fired farm to table pizza, cheese and charcuterie, and small plates throughout the day. This is a show not to be missed. Support local business and hear music from across the country. A day of great music and wine will kick off our summer music series featuring local artists as well as musicians from around the country.
Show begins at 3 p.m. Tickets are $20.00, available in our tasting room and online
