What we taste in a glass of Sherry is not just the fruit and its ferment but also the peculiar flavour of a place: Jerez, a place in the South of Spain where wine has been made for the last 3.000 years, is a place of stories, legendary tales and, most of all, mysteries.
Join us as we uncover the history of sherry and the mystery behind the spontaneous oxidation and complexity of Palo Cortado. The film screening will be held at the Bow Tie Criterion Cinema located at 86 Temple Street.
A sherry reception will be held after the film at The Wine Thief [181 Crown Street] from 8:30-9:30pm.
