Refrigerating Wine

Is it better to leave a bottle of white wine in the fridge if it isn't consumed (i.e. at a dinner party), or should it be put back into storage?
Answer From Expert Roger Bohmrich MW

Any opened wine will deteriorate once opened, and whites, especially lighter ones, tend to lose their fruit quickly. The best approach is to drink the bottle within a couple of days and keep it refrigerated.
