Join us and experience Champagne & Paris through the expert lens of Jennifer Huether, Canada's first female Master Sommelier, who will enhance our tour experience and guide us through the most famous wine region in the world.
This package features tours and tastings with accommodations in Épernay along the Avenue de Champagne. We will visit Champagne houses both in Épernay and Reims and showcase Champagne William Saintot in Avenay-Val d’Or (whose champagnes are available through Riverdale Wines.)

Day 1 June 20/21st
7:30PM ET - Fly out of Toronto (group arrival is ideal, and preferred flight is AC 872 via Toronto YYZ – Paris CDG) – departs Toronto at 730PM ET
June 21st
- 8:45AM – arrival at CDG airport in Paris
- 10:00AM – direct group transfer to Épernay Hotels situated along the Avenue de Champagne
- Hotels we have tentatively booked: La Cave de L’Avenue and Champagne A. Bergere
- Check in and freshen up before transfer to our first Champagne house
- 1:00 – 4:00PM - featured stop at Champagne William Saintot in Avenay-Val-d’Or. We will enjoy a welcome reception featuring local cheeses and meats followed by our champagne tasting and tour.
- Return to Épernay to hotels. Time to relax or perhaps a little free time to explore Épernay before heading out to dinner.
- 8:00PM – Dinner (included) at La Table Kobus featuring Champagnes by William Saintot. Saintot winemaker will join Jennifer Huether to guide us through an amazing culinary experience.
Day 2: June 22
- Breakfast at hotels (included) and free time before we are transferred to vineyard.
- 10:30AM – 12:00PM – Veuve Clicquot in Verzy (near Épernay) – walk through the terroir while tasting 2 of their champagnes
- 12:10PM - transfer to Reims – lunch, tours and tastings to follow
- 12:30-1:00PM – Quick stop for lunch in Reims (on our own) and then continue transfer to the following champagne houses
- 1:00 – 2:45PM – Piper Heidsieck – tour and tasting
- 3:00 – 5:00PM – Ruinart Maison – tour and tasting (personalized welcome at the Maison; Private discovery of the cellars and former chalk pits listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site; Champagne range tasting with a Maison Ambassador)
- 5:00 – 6:30PM – free time to explore sites in Reims. * Before we depart Reims we will have an opportunity to visit Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Reims where the majority of the Kings of France were coronated.
- 6:30PM – return transfer to hotels in Épernay
- 8:00PM – Dinner (included) at Brasserie de la Banque and will feature the Champagnes of William Saintot once again
Day 3: June 23
- Breakfast at hotels (included)
- After breakfast perhaps, a visit to the Museum of Champagne Wine and Regional Archaeology (time permitting) We will walk along the Avenue de Champagne towards our first Champagne House
- 10:30AM – 12:00 PM – Champagne Mercier – tour and tasting Continue our walk along Avenue de Champagne for next stops
- 12:30 – 2:30PM – Moët & Chandon – tour and tasting
- 3:00 – 5:00PM - Dom Perignon – tour and tasting
- 5:15PM - Return to hotels or for those who wish, we will continue to explore Épernay sites 8:00PM – Dinner (included) at Why Not with champagne again, provided by William Saintot in our farewell to the Champagne region.
Day 4: June 24
- Breakfast at hotel (included)
- After breakfast we will relax and have some free time before our group transfer to our 4-star hotel in Paris in the Fourth & Seventh arrondissements respectfully, for 2 nights
- Hotels tentatively being booked are Grand Hotel Saint Michel or Hotel Saint Germain *in the event that these hotels are not available at time of reservation, we will book something of similar nature/quality
Day 5: June 25
- Breakfast at hotel (included)
- Free day to explore Paris at your leisure
- Paris is one of the best cities to have free time to explore the many sites and arrondissements, each with their own distinctive flavours and charm. If there is interest, Jennifer and A Perfect Tour will make suggestions and have some optional tours available with the guides we have met over the years, if interested. We always have a few nice surprises for our customers and this trip will be no exception.
Day 6: June 26
- 8:30AM – transfer from Paris hotels to CDG airport for departure
- Suggested group return flight - AC 873 Paris (CDG) to Toronto (YYZ) departs 1:00PM, arrives in Toronto 3:00PM ET
