Costa Rica's motto Pura Vida, meaning the pure life, extends to every facet of life there and encompasses every part of the culture and most notably the fresh, delicious food. Even the water is safe to drink and very pure. With an emphasis on everything local, organic produce and sustainable seafood, chefs take healthy gastronomy to a whole new level. We will discover it all!

We'll stay 3 nights in San Jose discovering an international array of chefs drawn here by amazing provisions and the emerging food scene. Then we immerse in a stunning private retreat that caters to gorgeous cuisine, relaxation and renewal with an infinity pool overlooking the coastline and jungle in a most peaceful setting. Perched above the Pacific, you will enjoy gourmet meals 3 times a day from local products freshly prepared with vegetarian options by a chef who prides himself on creating epic meals. Every meal is an experience to nourish your physical, mental and emotional body. Each day becomes an adventure with yoga, meditation, a massage or an adventure zip-lining in the tropical jungle encountering colorful wildlife and of course the monkeys.
