Monique Davies has gracefully followed in the footsteps of Jamie Davies, her late mother-in-law and “Grande Dame” of sparkling wine, as the vibrant matriarch of Schramsberg Vineyards. Raised in the Napa Valley, she attended Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, returning to work at the exclusive Auberge de Soleil Resort. She then had a 13-year tenure at Joseph Phelps Vineyards, where she rose to the position of Western Regional Sales and Marketing Manager.
Since they married in 2004, Hugh and Monique Davies have shared a passion for wine, community and family. With a striking similarity to Hugh’s childhood, they are raising three sons: Emrys, Nelson and Hugh Jr. on the historic Schramsberg property.
The focus for this virtual tasting session will be four Schramsberg sparkling rosés including our 2011 J. Schram Rosé, 2016 Querencia, 2017 Brut Rosé and Mirabelle Brut Rosé.
