Born in Belgium, your Guide, Suzanne Vandyck, inherited a love of the culinary arts, fine cuisine and old world wines from her mother in a country where cooking rituals lead to a feast every day! She has published international cookbooks, “The Foods and Cooking of Belgium,” ‘“Recipes from a Belgian Kitchen”, “Dutch and Belgian Cooking."
Suzanne became a Court of Master Certified Sommelier in 2012 and traveled the world to discover wine regions and terroirs. Now a resident of California Central Coast wine country, and formerly from the San Francisco Bay area where she had her own Food and Wine cooking school and travel business for over 20 years, Suzanne has said that, “Living in Silicon Valley is the best culinary research! Meeting all these different cultures, sharing their authentic and ethnic cuisines with me, is my dream come true.”
