Domaine Seguinot-Bordet, Chablis, Vieilles Vignes, Burgundy, France, 2019 ($40)

Tasting Notes:

Very pretty pale golden yellow in colour with lightgreenish glints. Bright, luminous and limpid. The nose is copious, fresh and expressive. It illustrates its maturity with bright colours, sparkling yellows and shining gold. The taste again reveals its powerful nature, rich, charming and elegant.. A harmonious combination of powerful mollowness and tender vivacity. The long , so obviously mineral finish is a perfect illustration of the wines serious yet charming character.

Jean-Marc Brocard, Chablis, Sainte Claire "Vieilles Vignes" Burgundy, France, 2019 ($38)

Tasting Notes:

Aromatically the wine is full of yellow fruits, such as lemon and crunchy apples, mango, and a hint of salty air. On the palate, the wine is a touch oily, with notes of marzipan, crushed rocks and delicate lemon curd.

Albert Bichot Domaine Long-Depaquit "Vaucoupin" Chablis Premier Cru, Burgundy, France, 2017 ($75)

Tasting Notes:

This wine features an expressive, rather powerful nose that is predominantly mineral. Milk caramel notes combine with elegant, refined nuances of oak. A hint of sucrosity on the palate with flavours of candied fruit, apricot, and quince. This beautiful, full-bodied wine finishes on a generous, slightly acidic note.

The varied and sustained aromatic pallet of this great wine allows a double vocation. As an aperitif or for a convivial meal. It will pair well with seafood, scallops, fish and white meats.

Domaine Pinson Frères, Chablis, La Forêt 1er Cru, Burgundy, France, 2019 ($55)

Tasting Notes:

Pale gold. Lots of pineapple and ripe grapefruit on the nose. Very ripe. Even with such maturity, still seems tightly wound. Soft, creamy, and exotic on the palate and with excellent potential.

Pair with shellfish, fish, cooked oysters and terrines.

Domaine Nathalie and Gilles Fèvre, Chablis Les Preuses Grand Cru, Burgundy, France, 2019 ($144)

Tasting Notes:

Wine providing a lot of pleasure on its mineral freshness, but which as it matures will offer you a great olfactory complexity and a beautiful opulence.

Located in the amphitheater of the Vaudésir valley with steep slopes and a south-east exposure that ensures very good sunshine, this terroir offers structured white wines of great finesse. This 2019 vintage with the color of a beautiful pale gold opens on an iodized and chalky nose that after aeration releases more complex aromas of white fruits, pear and pineapple mixed with fine floral and empyreumatic notes. The attack is frank with a hint of fat. The middle of the mouth is powerful, aniseed and mineral. The finish is fresh, saline and of a good length.
