This will be a class and guided tasting on Chianti Classico, Chianti Classico Riserva and Chianti Classico Gran Selezione.

Ideal for beginners to Italian wine (but also enjoyable to Italian Wine Nerds) this virtual tasting will explore the complexities, subtleties and fascinating backstories to the wines made from this esteemed region.

Registrants can source their own recommended producers/wines or purchase online in advance on their own time. Plan on a wine budget of between $75-$150 for the three wines, depending on the producers you select.

We will survey 3 different versions of Chianti Classico from Italy:

1 Chianti Classico, Suggested: Badia a Coltibuono 2017 Chianti Classico - Sangiovese Red Wine

1 Chianti Classico Riserva, Suggested: Castello di Volpaia 2017 Chianti Classico Riserva - Sangiovese Red Wine

And 1 Chianti Classico Gran Selezione, Suggested: Antinori 2015 Badia a Passignano Chianti Classico Gran Selezione - Sangiovese Red Wine

One ticket is good for a single log-in (so no need to buy two tickets if you are a couple)
