SPEAKERS

Claudine Pepin

Claudine Pépin is the only child of Jacques Pépin, and co-founder and president of the Jacques Pépin Foundation. Claudine has been working with her father since 1995 starting with PBS's “Jacques Pepin’s Kitchen: Cooking with Claudine,” “Jacques Pepin’s Kitchen: Encore With Claudine,” and “Jacques Pépin Celebrates.” All three series won James Beard Awards. Claudine also spent a great deal of time in the wine industry, working for Kendall-Jackson wineries, followed by serving as the Brand Ambassador NYC for Moet & Chandon and Dom Perignon Champagne, and teaching food and wine pairing for both the French Culinary Institute and the Sommelier Society in New York. In 2002, Claudine was named “Woman of the Year" by the Academie Culinaire de France – Filiale des Etas Unis. Claudine’s book, Let’s Cook French, is a collection of thirty favorite, simple, classic French recipes in both English and French, illustrated by her father and daughter Shorey. Claudine, her husband Rollie, and mischievous puppy Bisous happily live in Rhode Island.

Amy Ezrin

Amy Ezrin has been in the wine and hospitality industry for 20 years, predominantly on the import and wholesale side. An Italian wine specialist, has worked for several highly respected US importers and run a US marketing campaign for the Italian Trade Agency. Today, she is a partner in national boutique importer The Piedmont Guy, consults with a handful of wineries on their North American sales, and is founder of her own brand of boxed wines named Sandy Giovese. In her spare time, she can be found in Brooklyn, NY, raising her daughter and singing the occasional aria.

Grazia Pelosi

Grazia Pelosi has been in the wine industry for 32 years, she has been a key element in building Worldwide Wines (a division of Brescome Barton, Inc) into the largest fine wine importer and distributer in Connecticut. Currently the Executive Vice President of Worldwide Wines, she represents one of the few women to hold a senior executive position in sales and distribution in the fine wine business locally or nationally. Under her direction, she has build one of the most respected sales teams in Connecticut, a team that is recognized nationally for knowledge, service, and success. In her spare time, she loves to travel, cook and spend time with her husband, Geoffrey Mansfield and their Bernese Mountain dog, Chester.
