Now that the summer has ended, are you “Hungary” for some great wines? We will be showcase the terrific wines from Sauska in Hungary. These are not to be missed.
Tradition and innovation. We know that these two ideologies must go hand-in-hand to create ultimate quality. Without knowing the past, we are rootless. Without vision and innovative ideas, there is no future. The goal is to find the perfect balance of these two concepts...with no compromise.
Furmint - Tokaj - Pale yellow in color with green hues. The wine is light and fruity with fresh grapes, honeydew melon and a honey focus which is clean, balanced and complex.
Kadarka - Villany From soils rich in minerals, limestone and red clay, Kadarka is the grape that builds its charm on tannins. Red fruits and dry spices dominate the mouthfeel with the signature Hungarian ground paprika.
Kekfrankos - Villany Velvety red with expressive spiciness in the nose with black pepper, marjory and thyme. Cherry and tart burst on the palate with discreet vanilla-clove barrel spices, light tannins and great minerality. A Mediterranean Blaufrankisch.
Cuvee 7 - Villany A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Deep velvety color with rich oriental spice in the nose. A delicate balance of spiciness over minerality. A delicious wine the screams for food, especially great red meat.
