Wine, Music, and Art to Power the Polls!
Join The Voter Project and Jet Wine Bar to #PowerthePollsPA
Local artist, Oluwafemi, will install art to spur participation at the polls and in the upcoming election. You are invited to the official unveiling of the mixed-media, interactive art installation on Thursday, October 1st, from 5p-8p. The art will remain through November 3rd.
Take in Oluwafemi's amazing art while enjoying tunes spun by DJ Aura, and,... wine!
Pay as you go for featured wines by the glass including:
-Cuvée 89 Rosé Méthode Champenoise Gruet NM made with grapes from Native American grape growers
-Longevity Cabernet Sauvignon from acclaimed Californian winemaker, Phil Long, president of the Association of African American Vintners
-Eola Hills “Patriot” Blend OR
We have also partnered with Bluecoat American Dry Gin to offer cocktails!
Patriotic patrons will enjoy a socially distanced meet-and-greet with the artist as well as The Voter Project representatives -- who will assist in answering questions and signing up a new generation of paid poll workers who, in Philadelphia, will receive a total of $250 for their time.
Pennsylvania needs thousands of new poll workers to help ensure a safe and fair election for all voters on November 3rd.
