Plot a Novel in Less Than an Hour + Wine. Ideal for novice and experienced writers, this workshop is a collaborative and fun exercise in plotting a novel. You don’t need to have a pre-existing plot idea to participate, but it’s OK if you do. Writers of all genres of adult fiction, young adult and middle grade fiction are welcome. If you get stuck, you can call on others to help brainstorm ideas. You’ll learn a bit about story structure, but hopefully your main takeaway will be a willingness to play with story – while you enjoy some excellent wine.

JENNIFER SNEED has published articles and short stories for young readers in Cricket and Ask magazines. Her short stories have won a few awards, including a 1st in the 2019 Writer’s Digest Annual Contest for her Young Adult short, “Supernova.” She is the author of several pre-published Middle Grade novels and a Young Adult that hides from embarrassment in a computer file. She is the Assistant Regional Advisor for SCBWI Oklahoma/Arkansas and loves nothing better than encouraging her fellow writers.
