Enjoy an evening of art and wine at Brandywine Battlefield Park's first annual Wine and Paint Night
Brandywine Battlefield Park Associates are pleased to announce our first annual Wine and Paint Night at Brandywine Battlefield Park.
Guests to our Wine and Paint Night can bring their canvases and paintbrushes to paint an evening scene at one of our two beautiful historic homes or at our Quaker meetinghouse-styled Visitor Center. Guests can also roam the site and enjoy these views. Those with general and art lesson admissions may do so with their favorite wine from Acadian Wine Company and Chaddsford Winery.
For novice artists, we are offering 10 spots in an art class conducted by award winning fine artist Annette Alessi of Annette Alessi Fine Art.
Charcuterie and hors d'oeuvres are included in the admission.
- Designated Drivers at $20 per person (a small service charge is added)
- General Admission $45 per person (a small service charge is added)
- Exclusive Art Lesson at $60 per person (a small service charge is added)
You must be 21 or over to participate.
Tickets are non-refundable unless event is cancelled.
FAQ'S Wine and Paint Night 10/1/221. Can I purchase tickets at the park?Tickets may only be purchased online through Eventbrite.2. What does the cost of my ticket include?$60 tickets are for a combination of a painting lesson with Annette Alessi and an opportunity to participate in the wine tastings from Acadian Wine Company and Chaddsford Winery. There are only 10 tickets available for painting. These will be offered on a first come, first served basis. You will also receive a guaranteed parking space at the Visitor's Center.$45 tickets are for wine tasting samplings. The wine glass is included in the price of your admission ticket as well as one plate of hors d'oeuvres.$20 tickets for designated drivers as well as one plate of hors d'oeuvres.3. When can I arrive?Gates open at 4:45 pm. If you are painting throughout the park, we suggest arriving at 4:45 pm.4. Where can I park? Will there be handicap parking available?You may park at designated locations throughout the park. There will be parking attendants to assist you. Once you park your vehicle, you must check in at Ring House, Visitor's Center, or Gilpin House to receive your tasting cup and color-coded wrist band. Wineries will not have tasting cups. Please let us know if you need any special accommodations. We would be more than happy to assist you. Please remember only cars with handicap placards may drive through the park.5. Will there be food?Absolutely! Gia Bella Catering will be offering a wonderful spread of charcuterie items, hummus, and bruschetta.6. Can I purchase wine by the glass?Yes, you may, but please drink responsibly.7. Can I purchase wine by the bottle?Yes, you may!8. Can I open and drink the bottle of wine I purchased?Yes, you may, but please drink responsibly.9. Is there a rain date?Saturday, October 8, 2022. Time will remain the same 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.10. What age group may attend this event?21 and older. Infants, toddlers, or children are not permitted. Must have a current photo ID for entry. Thank you!11. Can I drink wine and paint during my lesson with Annette?Yes, you may!12. Will the houses be open for tours?Unfortunately not for this event, but please come back and visit on Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. House Tours are conducted at 10:30 am, 11:30 am, 1:30 pm and 2:30 pm.
