We’re planning a unique tasting for you on Friday, February 10th at 7 p.m., at the Hilton Harrisburg just in time to say “Thank you for being so kind, so generous, so sweet, so you...” to anyone in your life who deserves it; knowing there are a lot of sweeties out there—not just Cupid’s valentines.

We’ve in the past paired wine and chocolates for some memorable February events, but someone gave us the idea of changing it up a bit. So here it is—your chance to taste some of the most incredible mini cupcakes on the planet paired with wines from a variety of grapes and winemaking processes from all over the globe. Join us to explore the sometimes overlooked world of fine dessert wines (these are not the sweet wines from your Great Auntie's pantry - NO). These are carefully crafted fine wines (and worth the price) from all over the globe. Recioto, late harvest, ice wine, distilled and sparkling.

About the cupcakes.  Again - not the ones frazzled moms make to take to school at 11 pm the night prior. The CupCakEquation is the brainchild and creative outlet of local baker Maryalice Warfield.

Maryalice creates flavor profiles you won’t find in mainstream bakeries. We are so excited to work with her!

In a totally hedonistic pursuit, our tasting team will decide pairings with Maryalice while we all taste the candidate wines and sample cakes and frostings to choose selections. Possible wines include a Chenin Blanc recioto from South Africa, Riesling late harvest from New York, late harvest Zinfandel from CA, late harvest Sauvignon Blanc from Slovenia, a Port, a Tannat dessert wine from Uruguay, a white Austrian dessert blend…and from a Champagne house, distilled fine of Champagne from Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier.
