The Sea by Alexander’s Steakhouse in Palo Alto has announced a luxurious tasting experience to be hosted by The Macallan brand on Thursday, May 23 beginning at 6:00 PM. Indulge in an extraordinary evening of whisky appreciation commemorating 200 years of The Macallan legacy with special guest Samuel Gulley, the Macallan Brand Specialist for Silicon Valley. Upon arrival, each guest will be greeted with a Classic Cut welcome cocktail crafted by Bar Director Elias Aguila. This will be followed by the culinary creations of Chef Pratik Mungre who will present a meal curated to complement the rich complexities of The Macallan whiskies. The evening will close with the announcing of the winners of an exclusive raffle.

 

The Sea is the Bay Area's premier seafood dining destination. The restaurant’s distinguished menu is prepared using modern techniques and flair paired with a Japanese sensibility. Highlights of the upscale, contemporary design of the 148-seat dining room include a color scheme of white, light blues and grays, plus mirror accents, and a white Caesarstone bar top with white leather barstools. An outdoor patio has room for 50. The bar offers a substantial selection of contemporary, classic and original cocktails. The international wine list includes more than 300 vintages, with about 17 available by the glass.

 

The Sea by Alexander’s Steakhouse is located at 4269 El Camino Real in the historic Dinah's Garden Hotel, between Deodar Street and Dinah's Court, in Palo Alto, California.
