The Dorian in San Francisco Celebrates Their 6th Anniversary

An ode to a bygone era, The Dorian is a neighborhood supper club serving contemporary pub fare and free-spirited cocktails. This modern-day parlor for the bohemians, libertines and freethinkers is the kind of place where Oscar Wilde might have dropped in for a drink or Jerry Thomas would have tended bar.

Always offered at The Dorian is their classic American fare including award-winning burgers from Executive Chef Shawn Montgomery. The beverage menu features a mix of classic, contemporary and original cocktails including hand-crafted martinis and an extensive array of whiskeys.

Designed by Shelly Amoroso, The Dorian evokes a Victorian home at the turn of the last century with rich colors and textural wallpapers, mixed with brass and concrete surfaces. Built in-panels with hand-sourced antique artifacts and art, and a chandelier all bring a sense of charm and fun to the restaurant’s three distinct spaces. The main bar area, with brass accents and a teal and purple color scheme, is anchored by a prominent whiskey display while upstairs, the study incorporates leather and dark wood. Seating options include banquettes, booths and a round settee.

The Dorian is located at 2001 Chestnut Street, at the corner of Fillmore Street, in San Francisco, California. Reservations are encouraged, but walk-ups are welcome.
