The Crown Jewel of California
In 1965, Jack and Jamie Davies established Schramsberg as a sparkling wine estate on the property originally founded in 1862 by German immigrant Jacob Schram. At a time when there were only 22 bonded wineries in Napa Valley and fewer than 100 acres of California vineyards planted to Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, they set out to make world-class sparkling wine in the true méthode champenoise style. Theirs was the first California winery to provide a Blanc de Blancs in 1965 followed by a Blanc de Noirs in 1967. Now their son Hugh Davies, who was born the same year the Davies arrived at Schramsberg, leads the winery’s management and winemaking team.
Starting with President Nixon’s Toast to Peace with China in 1972, every presidential administration since, has served Schramsberg’s sparkling wines during official functions. Schramsberg is the most celebrated sparkling wine producer in the US!

All Forks & Corks University Master Class Events will follow the CDC Guidance for social distancing. Tickets and capacity are very limited for these events. Guests will be asked to wear masks until seated (at pre-arranged socially distant tables.) No assigned seats may be reserved in advance. Tables are pre-set for 2 guests each and tables will be filled on a first come first service basis. You should treat your tickets like cash. All tickets to the Forks & Corks University Master Classes are non-refundable and will not be replaced if lost or stolen. All events, prices, performances, venues, dates and times are subject to change without notice. All sales are final. Your tickets will not be replaced, refunded or exchanged for any reason whatsoever. To have 100% confidence in the validity of your ticket purchase, you should only purchase your tickets through our ticketing system. The validity of tickets purchased through other websites or resellers cannot be verified by The Sarasota-Manatee Originals prior to event day. Guests must be 21+ to purchase tickets to this event. No children will be admitted (even infants.)
