Local Event
The Vicente and Pearce families came together when a girl from Mendoza, Argentina met a guy from Buffalo, New York. As kids growing up in Mendoza, Celia and Juan Pablo Vicente helped their grandfather make wine in the backyard. Shawn’s passion started with his wine tasting club in college. FVP started grape farming in 2011 with the purchase of the Azcuénaga Vineyard, planted in 1990 at 2,980 feet (908m) above sea level. Their focus is on high quality single-vineyard wines that reflect their origin here in Lunlunta. They specialize in Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and our Bordeaux-inspired "Corte", a single vineyard red blend.
