The proceeds from this fundraiser will directly fund the mission of Slow Food NYC, including our Snail of Approval program, our educational events and advocacy, and Slow Food NYC's Urban Harvest program and Ujima Farm in East New York, Brooklyn. Thank you for your support!

About Slow Food NYC's Ujima Farm: The Urban Harvest program produces and donates over 1,000 pounds of farm-fresh produce during the growing season—including tomatoes, squash, cucumbers, eggplants, okra, beans, and basil—to community organizations, including the Coretta Scott-King Senior Housing Facility and to a mutual-aid fridge at Universe City. We grow more than 100 varieties of plants and compost more than 500 pounds of plant materials and food waste with the support of our community.

About The Marshal: Since opening ten years ago in 2013, The Marshal has been reminding New Yorkers that they live in the heart of a thriving, productive, and award-winning wine country by featuring only NY wineries on The Marshal wine list. Chef Charlie Marshall grew up in his parent's restaurant and on their farm on Lummi Island, in Puget Sound. The Marshal strives to emulate Chef Charlie's roots by creating approachable yet elevated farm-to-table cuisine.

About Opici Wine & Spirits: An importer and producer of fine wines and artisanal spirits, Opici Wines and Spirits has been family owned and operated since its inception. Founded in 1913 and re-established upon the repeal of Prohibition in 1934, Opici became a household name under the leadership of the late Hubert Opici, an “American Wine Legend.” Today, the company is managed by Don Opici, fourth generation, and boasts a portfolio of more than 40 brands from around the world. Opici Wine and Spirits is proud to have expanded its sustainable and organic wine selection over the past decade. Today, 25% of the Opici Wine and Spirits portfolio is composed of wines that are certified sustainable or organic.

About Slow Food NYC: Slow Food furthers the mission of good, clean, and fair food for more than 8+ million New Yorkers. We are a 100% donation and volunteer-based organization and greatly appreciate your support.
