On Friday, April 20th from 4 to 7pm we will be featuring light and bright reds, whites and rosés, that are perfect for enjoying the first warm, sunny days of 2018. In addition to our most popular still and sparkling rosés, we urge you to try The Oddity Furmint from Royal Tokaji. Unlike your typical sweet Tokajis, The Oddity is fermented dry and harvested earlier. The result is “a finely balanced wine where the Furmint grape shows its fine apricot and peach fruit with subtle hints of oak from the Hungarian barrels in which it was matured. A lively wine with crisp acidity, complex and a long finish.”
For the cooler nights and those perfect grilling days, we suggest you try the highly acclaimed Elvio Cogno Ravera Barolo. This show stopping 2013 Barolo Ravera was awarded 97 points from both Wine Enthusiast Magazine and James Suckling, landing the #28 spot on Suckling’s Top 100 Italian list for 2017. Among the highest rated of the vintage, Elvio Cogno’s Barolos do not disappoint.
