During the pandemic, SONY HOLLAND filmed an on-demand streamed concert entitled: “Songs of Linda Ronstadt”. The stream was SEEN BY THOUSANDS WORLDWIDE. In May, the LIVE WORLD PREMIERE of this show SOLD OUT in Petaluma. This was followed in succession by the Central Coast debut in Carmel, the South Bay premiere in Palo Alto, the San Francisco debuts in Glen Park & FiDi, an encore South Bay performance in Los Altos, and now the Peninsula premiere at Pacifica's A Grape in the Fog.
International multi-genre vocalist Sony Holland started her career as lead singer for a rock band in the Midwest. She moved to Nashville and experienced the country music scene. Sony also has a love for jazz. She has incorporated all these types of music in her performances.
Sony Holland has headlined at Sweetwater, Fenix, Yoshi’s, SFJAZZ, Top of the Mark, Sausalito Art Festival, completed a three year residency at SF Ritz-Carlton, and opened for George Benson at Rodney Strong Winery. She has performed internationally in Bangkok, Hong Kong, Japan, Paris, New York City, Nashville, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, and Denver. Sony has recorded eight albums.
On guitar and background vocals will be songsmith Jerry Holland, who penned the #1 country hit song "Friends" for John Michael Montgomery.
Program will be primarily Linda Ronstadt songs, but also jazz, country, classic rock, and songs written by Jerry Holland.
