Grab a friend or two and come to our Wine, Friends, and Fun Night here at Bishop Estate and make a floral arrangement! Learn Florology the Language of Flowers by creating a lovely Valentine's Bouquet with Melissa Palmer of Florum Flowers. She will teach fun tips and tricks for your future arrangements! Each student will receive a pamphlet on the language of flowers and a small box of chocolates, compliments of Melissa.
Ticket includes: all materials needed to create the floral design in a beautiful wine carafe that you can reuse to decant your wine, professional guided instruction and a flight or glass of wine and light snacks!
Our instructor, Melissa Palmer, trained under Gregor Lersch in Germany and attended the Borerma Institute in the Netherlands in Dutch Master Design. She is an instructor at Longwood Gardens teaching Floral Fun Classes and she owns her own businesses Florum Flowers and Petaling Posies and grows flowers on her New Jersey farm. She is a frequent lecturer/speaker for PHS and also the Philadelphia Flower Show. Melissa is also a Master Beekeeper and Mason Bee Specialist.
Starts at 7:00 and we will be designing in the upstairs tasting area in the climate controlled renovated Bank Barn!
