Bring Your Favorite Italian Red Wine

Break out the cellars and wine racks! and Come join us for a fun adventure and afternoon filled with delicious Italian Red(Rosso)wines! Whether you're a wine enthusiast, or just enjoy a good glass of wine, this event is perfect for you. We'll be gathering at the Wildewood Community Center Clubhouse at 23050 Wildewood Drive, California, MD, USA to share our favorite Italian red wines and enjoy each other's company. Don't forget to bring a bottle of your favorite Italian Red wine to share with the group.

*** NOTE -

1)There will be an announced winner of wine by region of Italy.

2) Through your collective vote, we will recognize the top 3 rated(overall) wines.

3) The participant whose wine is voted #1 (First Place) overall will win a small prize.

If you are bringing a wine, please be sure to bring an unopened bottle. And we suggest, due to a large number of participants, to bring 2 (TWO) of the same wine so All can taste your wine (but not required).

ALSO: If you are bringing wine to this event when you purchase a ticket to please provide the organizer (email: carltpoe@yahoo.com) before the event of :

1) Your full name

2) Vintage (Year) of the wine

3) Winemaker (on label/front of bottle)

Format:

• You will bring your wine bottle(s), sign it in.

• When all participants are present, organizer will give brief introduction and go over rules.

• All participants begin tasting wines (Spitoons will be provided).

• Please take advantage of the bottled water and finger food, hors d'ouevres provided).

• You are provided a list of all wines by number by which to grade from 1-15?(for example).

• With all votes in, final tally will reveal group's favorites.
• Three judges will blind-taste those wines voted the Top 3 (by You) for the Winner.

*** VIP Wines (Optional) ***

Separately, a small selection of 3-5 wines rated 95 Points + from Poe Cellars will be available for 1.5 - ounce pours for purchase of $50/person (until supplies last). These wines will not be included in the ranking. You may purchase your VIP ticket in advance on Eventbrite or pay at event.
